A Chilling Statement
On a quiet afternoon in the peaceful neighborhood of Maplewood Street, a statement from a four-year-old girl left everyone frozen in their tracks. Anna Grant, clutching her stuffed bear, stood in front of the officers at the local police precinct, her small form trembling. Her wide, dark eyes were filled with fear, yet there was something eerily calm about her words.

The room grew deathly quiet. Officers exchanged wary glances, unable to process what Anna had just revealed. Could this be a child’s nightmare, or was this a grim truth? The atmosphere thickened, and an eerie silence swept through the precinct.
