Ingredients
- 6 medium beets, washed and trimmed
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional spices for extra flavor:
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
- 1 cinnamon stick

1. Cook the Beets
