I Found a Tiny White Stick in My Son’s Room and Was Too Embarrassed to Ask Him… Does Anyone Know What It Is?

Parenting teenagers comes with surprises, some delightful, some confusing. One evening, while tidying my 16-year-old son’s room, I stumbled upon a small white stick. It was unlike anything I recognized, and for a moment, I froze, unsure whether to ask him about it.

At first glance, it looked like a miniature USB drive or perhaps a charger component. Its white plastic casing, small size, and elongated shape seemed innocent enough. But as I examined it more closely, I realized something was off. There was no metal plug, no buttons, no ports, no labeling—just a smooth plastic body, a capped bottom, and tiny perforated holes at the top.

I turned it over in my hand, puzzled. Could it be a school device? A tiny electronic gadget? A makeup tool? Or perhaps something else entirely that I didn’t want to know about? The more I held it, the more my imagination ran wild.
