I Came Home with My Newborn Twins to Find the Locks Changed, My Stuff Thrown Out

You’d think bringing home your newborn twins would be one of the happiest moments of your life.

For me, it started like that.

Then I pulled into my driveway… and felt my stomach drop.

My suitcases and baby bags were scattered across the lawn.

Even the crib mattress was outside like trash.

And when I tried my key, the lock didn’t budge.

I stared at the front door, holding two tiny car seats, still sore from delivery, trying to convince myself I was misunderstanding what I was seeing.

Then I saw a note taped to one of the bags.

“Get out of here with your little moochers! I know everything. — Derek.”

My husband’s name on that paper didn’t feel real.

And the timing was almost too cruel to process.
