“Absolute Immunity”: JD Vance Says ICE Agent Who Fatally Shot US Citizen Will Face No Charges

A Death Still Under Dispute

Renee Nicole Good, a 37-year-old mother, was shot and killed during an encounter with immigration enforcement officers on Wednesday.

The Department of Homeland Security claims she “weaponized her vehicle” and described the incident as an act of “domestic terrorism.”

President Trump later echoed that framing.

But Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey has forcefully rejected it.

After reviewing the footage, Frey accused the ICE agent of reckless conduct and dismissed claims of self-defense.

“This was an agent recklessly using power,” Frey said. “And someone died.”

As protests continue and the investigation proceeds behind closed doors, the divide grows sharper.

Federal officials say the agent is immune.

State officials say they’ve been locked out.

And a family is left grieving—with no clear path to justice.
