Who Alex Pretti Was
To his family, Alex Pretti was not a threat.
He was an ICU nurse. An outdoorsman. A son who cared deeply about others.
His father, Michael Pretti, said Alex was disturbed by immigration enforcement tactics he believed were harming innocent people.
“He cared about people deeply,” his father said. “He thought what was happening was wrong.”
The family says Alex had no criminal record and no prior interactions with law enforcement.
