I glanced at Chloe, feeling the weight of the crowd’s eyes. “Take everything he thinks he owns. Tonight.”

He hesitated, then whispered, “It’s already happening, Viv.” The line went dead, and Chloe’s smile widened, unaware of the storm brewing behind my calm façade.
