He spoke like the reasonable adult in the room.
He suggested misunderstandings.
He tried to make it sound like I was overreacting.
But his tone started changing as soon as the officers asked direct questions.
Then the questions got more specific.
Then the recording came out.
And you could literally watch his story stop lining up with reality.
He contradicted himself.
He “didn’t remember.”
He tried to blame stress.
He tried to redirect.
The problem with a practiced liar is this:
They’re confident until someone makes them stick to one version.
