What the Footage Allegedly Shows
The reported cellphone footage appears to show a tense exchange between federal agents and Good while she was seated in her vehicle.
Moments after her words — “I’m not mad at you” — the agent can allegedly be heard ordering her to exit the car.
Then the vehicle moves forward.
And seconds later, the agent fires into the vehicle.
The car continues rolling and eventually crashes.
In the same recording, the agent can reportedly be heard using a slur and profanity immediately after firing.
The contrast between the tone of Good’s words and the officer’s alleged reaction is part of what has fueled outrage.
Because what people think they are seeing is not a shootout.
It is a woman trying to leave.
