But despite the fame and fortune, one very simple childhood dream stayed with him.
He had always wanted to own an ice cream truck.
And once the Harry Potter money began coming in, he finally decided to make it happen.
His First Car Was Anything but Ordinary
During a 2023 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Grint revealed that the ice cream truck was actually his first vehicle.
Rather than buying the kind of expensive sports car people might expect from a young movie star, he went in a completely different direction.
“I’ve always loved the trucks, and it’s something I’ve always wanted to have,” Grint explained.
For him, the attraction was about nostalgia.
