The exercise couldn’t look much simpler.

Grab a bar.

Lift your feet from the ground.

And hang.

But by the end of the month, Nading noticed changes she hadn’t necessarily expected. Her grip was stronger, her shoulders felt better, and she could remain on the bar much longer than when she started.

Most importantly for her, the tingling she had been experiencing seemed less intense and less frequent.

Her experience doesn’t prove that dead hangs can treat spinal or nerve problems. Tingling in the leg or foot can have several causes, including nerve compression, and persistent or worsening symptoms deserve proper medical evaluation.
