Common Reasons It Feels Easier

- Lower back relief (short-term): the position can unload certain muscles temporarily.
- Security reflex: some people naturally cross limbs when they feel exposed, stressed, or simply “on display.”
But “feels good now” isn’t the same as “good for your body long-term.”
Because the longer you hold it, the more your body pays for that convenience.
