What does it really cost us to help them, to stop for five minutes, to make their day a little lighter? It is sad — profoundly sad — to see how these people are abandoned, forgotten, ignored. All this technology is making us lose what is essential: humanity. We are becoming cold, distant, inhuman.
Those who govern should intervene immediately. It is unacceptable to treat this way those who gave everything, their entire lives. It is shameful. We have filled the world with innovation, but we are emptying our hearts.
