Standing at a podium after mounting pressure, Secretary Kristi Noem acknowledged what many in Minneapolis have been saying since the moment Renee Nicole Good was shot dead:
“This situation was preventable.”
The admission landed like a shockwave.
Because once something is preventable, it stops being an accident.
