On January 7, Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were operating in Minneapolis as part of an expanded federal enforcement campaign.

That operation ended with a 37-year-old woman dead behind the wheel of her car.

Renee Nicole Good was shot during an interaction with ICE officers.

Federal officials quickly claimed she had “weaponized her vehicle,” accusing her of using her car against officers and labeling the incident an act of “domestic terrorism.”

But those claims have come under intense scrutiny.

Video footage circulating online shows only part of the encounter, raising questions about whether the use of deadly force was necessary—or reckless.

What is clear is this:

Renee Good did not leave the scene alive.

And a six-year-old boy lost his mother.
