Are You Using the Right Compartment?

A common mistake is pouring detergent straight into the drum. While laundry pods are designed for that, most liquid or powdered detergents work best when placed in the correct drawer compartment. This allows the machine to release detergent at the right time during the wash cycle.

Most detergent drawers have three sections:

Pre-wash compartment (usually labeled “I”)

Main wash compartment (labeled “II”)

Fabric softener compartment (marked with a flower or star symbol)

Each has a different purpose:
