“Public Murder,” Says AOC
Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did not hold back.
She described the killing as a “public murder.”
“What we saw today was a criminal murder a woman and shoot her in the head while she was trying to escape and flee for her life,” Ocasio-Cortez said.
She called it the “manifestation of every American’s worst nightmare.”
Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey echoed that fury.
Standing before cameras, visibly shaken, he delivered a message directly to federal authorities.
“To ICE,” Frey said, “get the f— out of Minneapolis.”
He accused ICE of sowing chaos, ripping families apart, and killing residents under the guise of enforcement.
After viewing the footage himself, Frey rejected claims of self-defense outright.
“That is b—s–t,” he said.
