Trump’s Response Ignites Outrage
Donald Trump saw the same footage.
But his conclusion could not have been more different.
Posting on Truth Social, Trump said the video was “horrible to watch.”
Then he blamed Renee Good.
He claimed the woman screaming was a “professional agitator.”
He said the driver was “very disorderly,” “obstructing,” and “resisting.”
Trump went further—alleging that Good “violently, willfully, and viciously ran over the ICE Officer,” forcing the agent to shoot in self-defense.
“Based on the attached clip,” Trump wrote, “it is hard to believe he is alive.”
He concluded by framing the killing as a consequence of what he called “Radical Left violence.”
“They are just trying to do the job of MAKING AMERICA SAFE,” Trump wrote.
For many, the statement crossed a line.
