Federal Officials Double Down
The Department of Homeland Security backed Trump’s assessment.
In a statement, DHS claimed that “violent rioters” blocked ICE officers and that Renee Good “weaponized her vehicle” in an attempt to kill them.
They labeled the incident an act of “domestic terrorism.”
DHS said the officer feared for his life and fired defensive shots, saving himself and others.
They blamed “sanctuary politicians” for fueling hostility toward law enforcement.
