A line that, once crossed, cannot be erased.
But President Donald Trump is now openly questioning that idea — and warning that thousands of Americans could lose their citizenship if he gets his way.
“If I have the power to do it,” Trump said recently, “I would denaturalize — absolutely.”
He added he would do it “in a heartbeat.”
