The Administration Is Now Exploring How
Just weeks later, Trump’s rhetoric has turned into action.
The New York Times reported that Trump’s administration is now actively examining the criteria for stripping Americans of their citizenship.
During a two-hour interview with the paper, Trump confirmed the review was underway.
And he named one community explicitly.
“I think that many of the people that came in from Somalia,” Trump said, “they hate our country.”
He did not provide evidence.
He did not clarify how “hate” would be defined.
And he did not say who else could be targeted.
But he made one thing clear.
If the administration decides someone “deserves” to be stripped — he would do it.
