Venezuela Demands Proof of Life

The Venezuelan government says it does not know where its president is.

Vice President Delcy Rodríguez demanded that the U.S. provide:

“Immediate proof of life” for both Maduro and his wife.

The demand reflects growing concern inside the country over the president’s status.

No such proof has been released publicly.

Meanwhile, Venezuela’s Defense Minister Vladimir Padrino López addressed the nation.

He called the strikes the “worst aggression” ever carried out against the country.

He said all armed forces were being deployed under Maduro’s orders.
