Trump’s Claim of a ‘Large-Scale Strike’
Hours after reports of explosions emerged, President Trump addressed the situation on Truth Social.
He wrote:
“The United States of America has successfully carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela and its leader, President Nicolas Maduro, who has been, along with his wife, captured and flown out of the Country.”
Trump added that the operation was conducted alongside U.S. law enforcement.
He announced that further details would be shared at a press conference at Mar-a-Lago later in the day.
The claims have not been independently confirmed.
No evidence has yet been provided to verify the alleged capture.
