Military Response Ordered Inside Venezuela
Venezuela’s Defense Minister, Vladimir Padrino López, also addressed the nation.
In a video message delivered in Spanish, he described the strikes as the “worst aggression” ever carried out against the country.
López called for national unity and resistance.
He said the armed forces were acting under Maduro’s orders and would be fully deployed.
“They’ve attacked us,” he said, “but they will not subdue us.”
Reports suggest that elite U.S. special forces may have been involved in the alleged removal of Maduro.
If confirmed, it would mark an unprecedented action against a sitting head of state in South America.
