Scattered throughout one of the salads were dozens of tiny black specks.
At first, nobody thought much of it. They assumed it was pepper, seasoning, or perhaps a spice used in the dressing. But the more closely they looked, the more concerned they became.
Something didn’t seem right.
The specks were oddly shaped. They appeared in clusters. And they certainly didn’t look like any ingredient listed on the menu.
Curiosity quickly turned into alarm.
One diner began searching online while another alerted the restaurant staff. Within minutes, concern spread throughout the table. What they discovered was enough to make them lose their appetite entirely.
The meal was abandoned immediately.
