Dealing with a stubborn toilet bowl ring can be frustrating, but there’s no need to worry. With just a few simple ingredients, your toilet can look sparkling clean again. The first method involves common household items: baking soda and vinegar.
Start by sprinkling about 1 cup of baking soda around the bowl, paying special attention to the area where the ring is most visible. This will help to target the grime directly.
Next, slowly pour in 1 cup of white vinegar. As the vinegar meets the baking soda, you’ll notice a fizzing reaction. This is a good sign—it means the mixture is working to lift and break down the stains.
Allow this powerful combination to sit for 10 to 15 minutes. This waiting period is crucial as it gives the mixture time to penetrate and loosen the grime effectively.
Once the time is up, grab a toilet brush and gently scrub the ring. You should find that the stains come away more easily, leaving the porcelain beneath looking much cleaner.
Finally, flush the toilet to rinse away the residue and reveal a sparkling bowl!
